Panorama Hotel (former Gintaras) was built in 1965 on one of the hills and went through many changes during its life. From the very beginning, it belonged to the trust of Vilnius hotels which also included hotels Astorija, Vilnius, Neringa, Narutis, and Žvaigždė. In 1993, the company was reorganized into AB Gintaro Viešbutis. In November 2006, AB Mikotel, the owner of the hotels Mikotel and Comfort Vilnius, signed the acquisition agreement and became the manager of Panorama Hotel.
Southern windows of Panorama Hotel offer an impressive view to the city. Churches, different shape domes and towers create a unique gamut of colours in the background of tiled roofs. In the distance, on the right bank of the river Neris, you can see forests and multi-storey buildings.
Panorama Hotel is 10 minutes away by car from Vilnius International Airport and only within 10-15 minutes walking distance from the Cathedral Square which stands in the heart of the city. Along the way, you can admire the splendid residence of the Lithuanian President, Vilnius University and the famous Pilies Street.
The hotel's conference centre is the largest one in Vilnius Old Town, capable of hosting up to 700 people. It is equipped in compliance with the international standards for conference rooms with heightened ceiling, effective air-conditioning, and modern simultaneous interpreting equipment.
The newly opened restaurant of Panorama Hotel offers you a unique European menu, excellent service and cosy atmosphere. Spacious, light restaurant, sanding out by its contemporary interior, perfectly suits for formal dinners, weddings and other personals and national holidays.
